Get in Touch
Hello, I'm Kareen Fellows
B.Soc.Sc · Diploma in Welfare
My approach is warm, thoughtful, collaborative and down-to-earth. I aim to help people feel more grounded, understood and connected — both to themselves and to others.
I work with individuals and couples navigating relationship difficulties, emotional challenges, life transitions and personal growth.
I offer counselling on the Northern Gold Coast, as well as online sessions for people across Australia.
My Therapeutic Approach
I have a special interest in relationships and have supported couples in strengthening trust, improving communication and building more respectful, loving connections.
My work draws on Gottman Method relationship training, relational approaches, emotionally focused work, mindfulness and other counselling techniques. Together, we can explore patterns, develop practical skills and make room for greater understanding and connection.

Lived Experience
My work is also enriched by lived experience. I have been married for 38 years and am a mother, stepmother and grandparent. These roles have deepened my understanding of relationships across different life stages and transitions.
Before counselling, I worked in ballet, remedial massage and bodywork, and hairdressing, and owned and managed salons in Sydney. These experiences fostered a long-standing interest in people, communication and wellbeing.
Outside the Counselling Room
I enjoy yoga, dancing and teaching Argentine Tango with my partner. These practices reflect my appreciation of presence, connection and embodied awareness.
I value kindness, gratitude and deep listening — qualities I believe support meaningful change in life and relationships.
